Ian Gooden
Chairman
Ian’s focus in on growing shareholder value. As Chairman, he leads the development of group strategy and coaches and supports our executive teams to deliver outstanding performance. He also manages the relationships with our key professional advisors. Ian joined Chiumento in 2008 after a career that had blended both senior commercial and corporate HR roles. He was appointed CEO in April 2014 and championed a digital transformation programme that revolutionised the profitability of the business. Following the acquisition of Chiumento Limited, Ian moved into the role of Chairman of Aldeburgh Holdings. Ian’s focus will now be on seeking out further acquisitions and partnerships that can accelerate the growth of the group.

Mike Burgneay
Director
Mike is the Managing Director of Chiumento Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Aldeburgh Holdings. Mike leads the business and has full operational responsibility for sales, operations and customer experience. He joined Chiumento in 2011 after a highly successful career in a series of internationally recognised HR consulting businesses. His passion is client relationships and personally leads our relationships with several major clients. As a Director of Aldeburgh, Mike’s primary focus will be on the integration of new acquisitions into our portfolio. Ensuring the total is greater than the sum of the parts.

Duncan Hamilton
Director
Duncan first became involved with the business via a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Oxford Brookes University. A technology specialist, Duncan helped us to understand how the internet and e-commerce would fundamentally change our world and developed the core technology strategy that underpins our business today. Duncan has two key areas of accountability. He ensures our core technologies are secure, stable and scalable. We’ve fully embraced cloud and SAAS technologies to allow us to run the group as a fully remote working business. Duncan also leads on product innovation. Utilising “blue ocean” principles Duncan ensures we look outwards beyond our own industry for new ideas and technologies that enable us to be more efficient, more effective and deliver better customer journeys.

Ann Hamshere
Executive Assistant
Ann works with the Board to support key projects and corporate governance. She organises our Board and shareholder meetings and is usually the first point of contact for companies looking to explore opportunities with us. Highly experienced in supporting major deals, Ann has been a member of teams involved in acquiring businesses both in the UK and internationally. She is used to dealing with complex legal, financial and due diligence matters while maintaining complete confidentiality. Ann joined in 2017. Her previous career was mainly spent supporting senior Directors and Partners in private equity and investment banking. Past employers include Permira, Schroder Ventures, Barclays Capital, Kleinwort Benson and Clifford Chance.
